Suitable for families with kids, elderly people, most of the route itself is comfortable for a mule ride instead as well as for walking, cross scenic mountain pass & villages, enjoy an overview of a typical & authentic valley.
For people who are more adventurous, the days can be extended to cover more distances and climb side peaks all through the trek.
Marrakech, Morocco
This is a relatively easy day with just 5-6 hours walking and will take you from Imlil (1740m), to Tizi n’ Tamterte (2300m), to Tachdirt. You will have lunch at the pass before you walk on to Tachdirt or Tinghourine, and a relaxing night in a guesthouse.
e start the day at Tinghourine/Tachdirt , go on to Ikkis, Aguersiwal (2100m) and then to Matat to Ait Aissa. It will take around 7 hours. But don’t worry, that night you get to have a hammam (a steam bath) to ease those sore muscles. The route takes you through pretty villages and along the Oudit Pass (2200m).
It’s waterfall day! A 6 hour day when we will first visit the most specatacular waterfalls in the Toubkal National park ,then walk on the path that goes over Mzik pass at 2500m. There are wonderful panoramas of the Ait Mizan valley. We have lunch in Mzzik and then walk back down to Imlil to catch the transport back to Marrakech.
